Malambia, the massive pan African film collaboration being helmed by Zimbabwean-born producer and director Marc T Mandisoul has secured Multi Award-winning cinematographer Rene Ettat from Cameroon as the Director of Photography.
The project widely regarded as the biggest film project from Africa is currently in development with an all-star cast that includes Van Vicker, John Dumelo, Nadia Buari, and Ramsey Nouah already announced, and more stars from South Africa and East Africa coming on-board. Top of Mandisoul's shopping list is Kenyan superstar Sarah Hassan who appears on the Showmax series Crime & Justice.
The film will be shot in Johannesburg and Zimbabwe with the final filming dates yet to be announced. Rene Ettat joins the project after his outstanding work on the Fisherman's Diary which was officially selected for the 93rd Oscars. Malambia is a project Mandisoul is building to take African cinema to the world and has all the ingredients to be an iconic movie based on the promotional images released this far.
