Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Out-Streams Kanye West’s ‘DONDA’

After being released within less than one week of each other, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy has officially out-streamed Kanye West’s DONDA, according to Rolling Stone.

Fans of the two rappers were eager to see what album would reign supreme on the charts amid the ongoing beef between the two rappers, which peaked with West momentarily leaking Drake’s alleged home address. Drake then responded with a video of him laughing, followed by bars referencing the situation on the song “7AM on Bridle Path” off of CLB. The feud even saw Diddy chime in with his two cents.

Reported using data from analytics provider Alpha Data, CLB racked up over 430 million audio streams in the U.S. in the three days after its release, September 3 through 5, beating out the 423 million streams that DONDA garnered in its first eight days of being available.

In addition to holding the number one spot on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums Chart, the Six God topped multiple of his own all-time records for the most-streamed album in less than 24 hours on Spotify and Apple Music. Records on both of the streaming platforms were previously held by 2018’s Scorpion.
