Drake, 21 Savage and Project Pat Interpolate Clips of Eerie Vintage Cartoons and Films for "Knife Talk" Visual

Drake has released a monochromatic music video for his 21 Savage and Project Pat-assisted track, “Knife Talk.”

Directed by Pablo Rochat, the accompanying visual utilizes shots of the artists interpolated with clips of vintage cartoons and films such as 1933’s Betty Boop Snow White. Eerie deep fakes are also present throughout music video, with dolls and ventriloquial figure mouthing along to “Knife Talk.”

The cut is taken from Drizzy’s Certified Lover Boy, which recently logged its fifth week atop the Billboard 200 and became the longest-running No. 1 rap album of 2021 so far. The OVO head reportedly submitted CLB for only one — Album of the Year — out of the four major GRAMMY categories, while tracks like “Way 2 Sexy” with Future, “Girls Want Girls” and “No Friends in the Industry” were submitted for Best Rap Performance, Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song respectively.
