Nomzamo Nxumalo Mbatha is a South African accountant, actress, and television personality who was a finalist in the MTV Base VJ Search in 2012. In 2013, she made her acting debut in Mzansi Magic's telenovela-turned-soap opera Isibaya.
She was born in KwaMashu, a town north of Durban, in South Africa on 13 July 1990. To father Skuta Nxumalo and mother Manatuku Mbata. She has been modeling at beauty pageants since she was a small child, despite her late father's disapproval, which she revealed on social media.
Carla Mbatha, Nomzamo Mbatha's younger sister, committed suicide in December 2014. Her brother, Zamani Mbatha, is an actor who is well known for his part on the Isithembiso soap opera & Rhythm City.
She attended the University of Cape Town for her tertiary studies, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Her university specialization was accounting, which she completed successfully in 2018.
Nomzamo Mbatha can be described as a jack of all trades. She was one of the finalists for the MTV VJ Search, however she did not win, as previously stated. This, however, provided her with access to the public domain, and she hasn't looked back since. On set, her days on Isibaya were her happiest.
Her acting career lead her to roles in two soap operas in 2015, "Tell Me Sweet Something" and "Umlilo." She also got a job hosting a reality travel show called "Holiday Swap" that aired on SABC the same year. The Jakes Are Missing (2015) and All About Love are two other films in which she has appeared (2017).

Nomzamo also serves as a brand ambassador for a number of companies. In 2015, she became the first South African to be named the face of Neutrogena cosmetics. In addition, the vivacious beauty collaborates with other well-known brands such as L'Oreal Paris, AUDI, and PUMA, according to her Instagram bio.
Ms. Mbatha was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency in 2019.
