Kabza De Small Biography

Amapiano tunes have recently taken over the South African music industry, with people always dancing to them. The Amapiano hits are your plug for any day, whether you're in the club, at a party, or at home.

Kabza De Small, dubbed the 'Amapiano King,' is one of the country's up-and-coming young deejays. To date, he's released a slew of smash tunes that keep fans on the dance floor till the wee hours of the morning.

He is also a songwriter, DJ, and performer on the stage.

Kabelo Motha, Kabza De Small was born on November 22nd, 1992 in Mpumalanga, South Africa. He did, however, spend the majority of his childhood in Pretoria. He went to Pretoria High School, where he had spent the majority of his childhood. Because he was more concerned with his music than with his studies, he was an average student. So, after a while, he decided to focus more on honing his skills.

In 2009, he began his professional career even though he didn't have a lot of resources at the time to further his career, but he understood what he wanted. He persisted in pursuing his aim of honing his DJ talents. He was into a variety of genres when he first started out, ranging from Afro-fused house to EDMs.

He didn't release his first album, Avenue Sounds, until 2016. The album was a big hit right away and received a lot of positive feedback from fans. Kabza expressed his gratitude for the support he received from his fans for his work. As a result, his smash hit 'Uber Everywhere' became one of his most well-known tracks.

Fast forward to 2018, and Kabza De Small has done it again by producing more fantastic music. He rose to prominence after the release of "Amabele Shaya" and "Umshove," both of which featured vocals from his Amapiano rival Leehleza.

Kabza De Small has also collaborated with DJ Maphorisa, which resulted in the formation of the Scorpion Kings. The pair had a fantastic 2019, wreaking havoc on Mzansi streets with their popular singles and EPs. It's no secret that the genre Amapiano has been sweeping the airwaves, and Mzansi partygoers can't get enough of it.

Kabza's talent has allowed him to appear on both local and international venues. He's also been on TV shows such as SABC, Channel O, and Mzansi Magic, and has performed at some of South Africa's most renowned events, such as the South African Music Awards (SAMA).

His efforts have also garnered him the respect he deserves.

Kabza De Small makes it a point to provide nice music that helps people to enjoy themselves. In 2019, he, on the other hand, found himself at odds with the head of South Africa's biggest record company.

According to Josiah Mphono, the CEO of Best By Far Entertainment, Kabza violated the terms of a contract inked in 2016 on several occasions.

He was accused of betraying Josiah by signing his music without his knowledge to DJ Maphorisa's label. Kabza was said to have collaborated with Maphorisa on an EP and a two-month national tour.

The Dj had also published two of his biggest songs, Umshove and Shaya Amabele, via other companies without considering his contract with Best By Far Entertainment, according to a report by Sunday World.

Josiah reached out to DJ Maphorisa in an attempt to have a better grasp of what was going on, but the hitmaker vowed to attack him instead.
