Khloe Kardashian seemingly had gotten back together with 'serial cheater', her on and off again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
In a recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, the Good American founder shared that she had gotten back with the disgraced NBA star at the time when she was not aware that he fathered another child with fitness trainer Maralee Nichols.
She went on to say that Tristan came to witness Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker get engaged and that they had gotten back together during that time period.
She went on to share that Tristan sought therapy and that she was optimistic of their future together.
Speaking to a producer about their relationship Khloe said: "We're good. We're actually in a really good place. We just got back together. He's been going to therapy a lot. There's just been a lot of effort on his part."
"When we broke up, I learned how well him and I got along and what good friends we are and what good partners we are. I have a lot of hope and faith and optimism for our future together," Khloe said.
But of course, that future was shattered just a few weeks later, when Tristan admitted to fathering a baby with personal trainer Maralee Nichols.
Kardashian viewers shared their sympathy, and their pity, after watching Khloe glow over who-she-thought was a reformed Tristan.
"Tristan Thompson has baby #3 on the way with another woman, while Khloe Kardashian acts delusional again.," one user tweeted.
Another added: "L O f**king L @ Tristan putting in effort."
"Ooph this scene of Khloe talking about taking Tristan back and all of the effort he’s putting in. I don’t understand how he’s doing all this with a straight face. That man is something else," a third viewer tweeted.
Someone else chimed in: "Tristan literally ruins #TheKardashians."
Khloe herself tweeted of Tristan's appearance on the episode: "Well we know how this aged."
In a second message, she wrote: "Watching these episodes now I definitely feel a type of way #TheKardashians oh girl if only you knew…. (Me talking to me)"
In the new Hulu episode, as family members gathered on the roof that October night, waiting for the proposal, friend Simon Huck teasingly asks Tristan if he has “any other big surprises” planned, aka if he is going to propose.
Knowing what we do now makes it awkward to watch, as Tristan shakes his head and looks uncomfortable, blurting out “not yet.”
Kris laughs in response, and says “you’re next Tristan! Figure it out! And if we can use the same hotel, that would be great.”
Of course, Tristan's fathering another child was the last straw, and he has since been ostracized from the family.
MISSING TRISTAN
And it seems the basketballer has little to do with his new family as well. Tristan welcomed a son named Theo with his former mistress Maralee, 31, back in December 2021.
In March, Maralee claimed that Tristan has refused to pay child support and has made "no attempt" to meet their newborn baby.
Maralee's representative recently said he has "done nothing" to support the baby, despite reportedly being ordered to pay her over $40,000 a month.
Earlier this year she demanded that he pay her $47,000 a month and $1 million in legal fees.
In documents obtained a publication Maralee claimed that the basketball player has an "income of $9.7 million alone."
