When it comes to creativity and delivering screen roles with so much perfection, only a few actors can do it like Nyalleng Thibedi. Apart from her high IQ, she is blessed with unique acting skills that most of her contemporaries can only wish for. Thibedi is currently 41 years old. She started making waves as an actress after she graduated from school. She shared that she did various jobs abroad just to make money to cater for her education. Today, Nyalleng is a force to reckon with, as well as a huge inspiration to budding actors.
Thibedi’s was born on the 4th of September 1980 in Soweto, South Africa. She fell in love with acting while taking classes at Funda Arts Center, a Soweto-based institution founded to train black students in arts education. Many years later, after completing her studies, she decided to move to the United States to hone her acting talent. She spent six years in the States, attending classes, doing some jobs, working with theatre groups, and taking part in stage productions. She mentioned that she did cleaning and cocktail waitressing jobs to make money for her classes in New York.
Though an engineer by profession, Nyalleng Thibedi is best known for being an actress and model. She
graduated from the university in the year 2001 after studying Chemical Engineering at the University of CapeTown. The actress started out by doing commercials for mega brands such as DSTV, Standard Bank, Castle lite, JET stores, and Cell C.
She has made appearances in so many popular TV series, including Uzalo and Ashes to Ashes.
It is difficult to tell if the Uzalo actress is currently dating someone. We can, however, establish that
she was previously in a relationship with an undisclosed man who abused her. She had to leave the relationship when she couldn’t bear the torture anymore.
The beautiful actress is blessed with a son.
