Prince Harry, Meghan Markle booed at Platinum Jubilee church service

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were greeted with both boos and cheers at the Platinum Jubilee church service Friday, with the jeers trying to outdo the excitement over their arrival.

The loud booing could be heard as the couple — who live in Santa Barbara, Calif., following their dramatic 2020 exit from the royal family — left St. Paul’s Cathedral in London holding hands.

During the National Service of Thanksgiving service, Harry, 37, and Markle, 40, noticeably sat on opposite sides as his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex instead sat with his cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their respective husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Harry and Markle did not appear to interact with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Palace insiders told a publication Thursday that Prince Charles’ sons, who have been feuding since Harry’s 2018 marriage to Markle, have no plans to interact while celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee festivities.

“At the moment, it does not look likely that Harry and Meghan and William and Kate will meet up separately during the Jubilee celebrations,” one source said. “There is certainly nothing in the diary at the moment.”

Despite the brothers’ rift, Harry and Markle were photographed chatting with other members of the royal family during the Trooping the Colour parade Thursday.

The former “Suits” actress was seen giggling with the Queen’s great-granddaughters Savannah Phillips, 11, Isla Phillips, 10, Mia Tindall, 8 and Lena Tindall, 3.

Meanwhile, the Queen, 96, and senior royals including Charles, 73, William, 39, Kate, 40, and their kids waved to onlookers from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, with Prince Louis giving fans a great show with his facial expressions.

Harry and Markle were not invited to the balcony photo op, as they are no longer working royals.
